Versiera offers a useful and unique feature of being able to assess whether NTP (time synchronization) is working correctly across all enterprise hosts at any point in time.

Certain environments such as virtualized hosts have issues with maintaining accurate time. Also there are industries where time and time synchronization are essential - i.e. financial brokerage.

Versiera can be used to assess which hosts have clocks running too fast or too slow. By using the Versiera Management System, go to:

Versiera >> State >> State

and review the "Time Sync" values for each host. The values show the number of seconds the host may be out of sync. If the host is keeping perfect time the column value will be "0". Host column values for "Time Sync" that are positive or negative are the number of seconds a host clock is too fast or too slow relative to Versiera.
